Stationary Guard

Stationary guards are key to deterring intruders and vandalism. Our security guards are former members of the military or law enforcement and have the experience needed to keep your property safe from harm. Stationary guards have the ability to patrol the premises and ensure that everyone who enters or leaves your property is verified and documented.

We use consistent techniques and proven procedures to ensure that everyone who is on your property is permitted. Any unverified persons will be immediately escorted off the property. In the event that the intruder dos not want to leave or is under suspicion for any illegal activity, we will detain them for further questioning. If needed, we will arrest them and turn them over to the police for further legal action.

How We Help: Proactive Approach

Hiring a private security service has the benefits of you taking a proactive approach toward security. Proactivity helps prevent crime before it materializes by presenting a presence that says: “Don’t mess with me.” While law enforcement is on call when something does come up, Night Watch Security Enforcement is already on the grounds, watching and making sure that nothing happens that is out of the ordinary.

The presence of a security guard is often enough to prevent criminal activity or vandalizing. This is especially true when the guards are armed and present a business-like demeanor. If something were to happen despite the presence of our security guards, we will be ready to take on the challenge to keep everyone safe and out of harm’s way.

How We Help: Flexible and Attentive

Using a stationary security guard is valuable in that the guards will come to know the habits and persons who are present on a daily basis. Anything that is unusual or different in someway will be immediately apparent to our trained guards, who will then take action to prevent the situation from escalating further.

A stationary security guard need to be able to respond to any changes within the environment rapidly and efficiently. This includes traffic movement, ensuring the safety of persons within their vicinity and monitoring the entry and departure of all other vehicles and persons.

At Night Watch Security Enforcement, we believe that it is out duty to provide protection for people, property and information. We provide the following as stationary security guards.

  • Ensuring that the premises and or property are protected against both natural and man-made threats.
  • The prevention, detection and response to criminal or quasi-criminal actions.
  • Interaction with local law enforcement officials and the justice system when need be. This includes the apprehension of criminals, the securing of crime scenes and providing information to the police when possible.
  • Leadership during times of emergency and assistance to emergency personal in the event of crisis. This can include directing the firefighters to the quickest way to a fire scene or showing law enforcement officers the route a criminal took in a get-away vehicle.
  • Access control to a site such as a building. Such control includes the monitoring of gate and entrance passage, escorting people and valuables to and from a site, inspecting bags and boxes before allowing them to enter or leave the site and validating people upon entry to the site.
  • Prevention from work accidents. We as security agents are very aware of potential dangers and threats in the vicinity, whether from people or situations. We will immediately report any safety hazards or possible threats to minimize the risks posed to other persons.

Material Access Security

Stationary security guards can also provide material access to security. This is one of the most sensitive tasks undertaken by a security guard. Items such as computers, hard drives and sensitive documents are a few of the prime targets of theft from a business location. Stationary security guards can provide services such as inspection of bags, purses and briefcases, searching suspect persons and contacting the appropriate parties should something untoward occur. Once you determine the steps you’d like implemented to protect your property, we will comply with your rules and protocols to ensure that your standards are being met and maintained.

Traffic Control

A stationary security guard can also provide traffic control when needed. Access to private property or sensitive locations can be monitored by the presence of a security company such as Night Watch Security Enforcement. We will wear the needed equipment to ensure our visibility in all weather conditions. We will conduct ourselves with professionalism at all times and will be respectful yet firm when providing guidance or direction.

Crowd Control

Crowd Control is another area where a stationary security guards can help keep things moving smoothly. Night Watch Security Enforcement is able to provide you with expert crowd control services that can help keep things from getting out of control. In the event that the situation gets out of hand, we have the tools and knowledge to handle mobs. We also understand when it is time to call the local authorities for back up and will not jeopardize the safety of the persons or places we are protecting.

While most situations only require a security guard to observe, deter, record and report, there are some cases where physical intervention will be required. In these instances, you can trust us to always act professionally to neutralize the threat and preserve the safety of the people and property we are protecting.

How We Use Technology

Stationary security services can also include the use of cameras, mirrors and fences to enable the guards to patrol multiple areas at once. Using technology, the guards have the ability to remain stationary to keep watch over an entrance or exit point, as well as an entire complex. The benefits of using technology to enhance security services include:

  • Steady control of an entrance/exit point
  • Additional protection for the security guard
  • Natural deterrents as the result of a visible guards, guards tower or camera placement
  • Lower number of guards required to monitor a specific area
